ÓMRA

Ómra - Irish for amber, is inspired by the warmth and ever changing colours of autumn and is a celebration of natures beautiful transition between seasons. 

Growing up surrounded by woodlands, autumn has always held a special place in my heart. The changing colours, the way they blend and interact with one another, and the sense of calm that comes with being in the presence of nature has always fascinated me. The natural shapes and forms of trees also played a part in inspiring this piece. From the gentle curves to the way they intertwine, there is something special about the shapes Mother Nature creates so effortlessly. 

Through layers of colour, shape and movement, Ómra captures a little of that magic.
